Charades
4–12 PLAYERS · Video or in person
Choose Charades when everyone wants to move. Make two teams of two: one person acts while their teammate guesses, then switch teams. Keep the acting space visible to everyone. A video call works for remote play; a voice-only call does not.
Rules, examples & play ↗Fishbowl
4–12 PLAYERS · Video or in person
Choose Fishbowl for a game that changes as you play. The same prompts return across description, one-word clues and silent acting. In a group of four, two teams can build on what they remember from earlier rounds.
Rules, examples & play ↗Same Brain
2–12 PLAYERS · Private answers
Choose Same Brain for a quieter start. Everyone answers the same prompt privately and reveals together. Four players gives you several possible matches without needing teams. It suits a table or a voice call.
Rules, examples & play ↗The Alibi
4–12 PLAYERS · Separate interviews
Choose The Alibi if your group likes improvising. Two players become suspects; the other two interview them. The suspects agree on their story, then answer separately. Make sure the second suspect cannot hear the first interview.
Rules, examples & play ↗20 Questions
2–12 PLAYERS · Private answer
Choose 20 Questions when you want a cooperative guessing challenge. One person knows the answer; the others ask yes-or-no questions. Start broad before narrowing down, and count each question so the limit stays meaningful.
Rules, examples & play ↗Set up a four-person room
One person creates a room and shares the link or code. Everyone joins with their own name, then the host starts. For team games, agree on who belongs to each team before the timer begins. New round moves the game on; Add score lets the host record a winner when the group wants to keep score.

Can four people play Mafia here?
Table Bandit recommends at least five players for Mafia / Werewolf. For four players, choose The Alibi, Undercover or one of the games above instead. Being able to open a room alone is useful for setup; it does not replace the recommended group size.
These guides describe Table Bandit’s browser games and house rules. Check the game’s rulebook when playing a different version.
