How to play Charades
Step 1
Alternate players form two teams. Only the actor checks the prompt.
Example: Players 1 and 3 are Team A; players 2 and 4 are Team B.
Step 2
No talking, spelling or sounds. The host marks correct guesses or passes.
Example: Mime walking a stubborn dog. A teammate guesses it; tap Got it.
Step 3
Teams alternate turns. After six turns, the highest score wins.
Example: Team A finishes with 8 correct guesses and Team B with 6. Team A wins.
Good to know
Are sounds, letters or spoken clues allowed?
No talking, spelling or sounds in this version. Use movement and expressions. Only the actor should see the prompt before the team guesses.
How are the teams and turns arranged?
Alternating players form Team A and Team B. Teams take turns for six one-minute turns, so keep the actor visible and let the host mark guesses or passes.
Bring your friends
Create a room with your name and share its invite link or code. Friends join from their own phones or laptops. If you are apart, use a separate voice or video call; Table Bandit does not provide voice chat. One shared laptop is another option when you can keep private cards and answers hidden from the right players.
You can open a room alone to prepare. Start when the group is ready; if someone joins later, the host can restart with everyone. Use the game’s normal turn controls to finish a match, or New round for a fresh start. Add score records a round winner when you want to keep score.
