20 Questions
2–12 players · Private answer
On a voice call, start with 20 Questions. One person privately sees the answer and the group asks yes-or-no questions. You do not need a camera, a large screen or fast typing. Keep the secret card hidden and count each question.

Spyfall
3–12 players · Private screens
For a voice-call bluffing game, try Spyfall. Most players know a location; the spy does not. Everyone uses their own device to keep cards private, then asks questions aloud. Do not screen-share the private card or read its answer to the room.

Charades
4–12 players · Video or in person
On a video call, Charades adds movement. Place the camera far enough away for the actor’s gestures to be visible and take turns speaking when guessing. A voice-only call cannot show the acting, so choose another game if someone cannot use video.

Same Brain
2–12 players · Private answers
In the same room, Same Brain is an easy seated option. Everyone answers the same prompt privately and reveals together. Separate phones make that simple; with one laptop, write answers on paper and keep them hidden until the reveal.
Rules, examples & play ↗Join the same room, not separate games
The host opens a game, reads its rules and creates a room. Share the invite link or the room code. Friends enter their own names and join that room. If everyone creates their own room, the games will not be synchronized.
What the website does—and what your group does
Table Bandit provides rooms, prompts, role cards, timers and controls. Your group supplies the conversation, acting and judgement of spoken answers. There is no built-in voice or video chat, so remote friends should open their usual call separately.
One device or several?
Separate devices are the easiest option for private roles and written answers. One shared laptop works for many spoken games, provided only the intended player looks at secret cards. Use the room roster to confirm everyone has joined before starting.
Good to know
Can a friend join after we start?
Yes. They enter the room while the current game continues. The host can choose Restart with everyone to include the new arrival. Tell the group first, because restarting begins a fresh game.
These guides describe Table Bandit’s browser games and house rules. Check the game’s rulebook when playing a different version.
