How to play Two Truths & A Lie
Step 1
The current player privately enters three statements and marks the lie.
Example: Write “I have a twin,” “I speak Italian,” and “I hate chocolate.” Mark the invented one.
Step 2
Read them aloud. Everyone else votes for the lie.
Example: Read all three aloud. Friends vote for the statement they believe is false.
Step 3
Reveal. Correct voters score one point. Rotate through every player.
Example: If “I speak Italian” is the lie, everyone who chose it earns one point.
Good to know
How many statements should be false?
Exactly one of your three statements should be a lie. Mark it privately, read all three aloud, then let everyone else choose.
Do the statements have to be personal?
Keep them as light as you want: food, hobbies or travel are enough. Nobody needs to share sensitive details to make the game work.
Bring your friends
Create a room with your name and share its invite link or code. Friends join from their own phones or laptops. If you are apart, use a separate voice or video call; Table Bandit does not provide voice chat. One shared laptop is another option when you can keep private cards and answers hidden from the right players.
You can open a room alone to prepare. Start when the group is ready; if someone joins later, the host can restart with everyone. Use the game’s normal turn controls to finish a match, or New round for a fresh start. Add score records a round winner when you want to keep score.
