How to play Hot Seat
Step 1
The player in the hot seat submits their answer privately.
Example: Alex privately writes “pancakes” as their ideal breakfast.
Step 2
Everyone else submits a prediction without discussing it.
Example: Everyone else predicts Alex’s answer without asking Alex.
Step 3
Reveal and compare. Exact matches score one; the host may accept equivalent answers.
Example: “Pancakes” matches and scores. The host can also accept “a pancake stack.”
Good to know
Who answers the question first?
The player in the hot seat submits their answer privately. Everyone else predicts that answer without discussing it or asking for clues.
Can differently worded predictions still count?
Exact matches score automatically; the host can accept equivalent answers. Agree as a group before awarding a disputed point.
Bring your friends
Create a room with your name and share its invite link or code. Friends join from their own phones or laptops. If you are apart, use a separate voice or video call; Table Bandit does not provide voice chat. One shared laptop is another option when you can keep private cards and answers hidden from the right players.
You can open a room alone to prepare. Start when the group is ready; if someone joins later, the host can restart with everyone. Use the game’s normal turn controls to finish a match, or New round for a fresh start. Add score records a round winner when you want to keep score.
