How to play Mafia / Werewolf
Step 1
Check your role. At night, Mafia choose a victim, the Doctor saves someone, and the Detective investigates.
Example: Mafia target Alex; the Doctor protects Alex. Alex survives.
Step 2
Discuss by day, then vote. Eliminated players remain silent.
Example: At dawn, explain why you suspect Sam, then privately vote.
Step 3
Village wins when no Mafia remain. Mafia win when they equal the other survivors.
Example: One Mafia and one villager remain: the Mafia have matched the village and win.
Good to know
Can we play with four people?
The recommended minimum for this version is five. You can open a room alone to prepare, but for four people a complete game of Undercover or Spyfall is a better fit.
Can eliminated players keep giving advice?
No. Once eliminated, stay silent about the game until it ends. The village wins when all Mafia are gone; the Mafia win when their number equals the other survivors.
Bring your friends
Create a room with your name and share its invite link or code. Friends join from their own phones or laptops. If you are apart, use a separate voice or video call; Table Bandit does not provide voice chat. One shared laptop is another option when you can keep private cards and answers hidden from the right players.
You can open a room alone to prepare. Start when the group is ready; if someone joins later, the host can restart with everyone. Use the game’s normal turn controls to finish a match, or New round for a fresh start. Add score records a round winner when you want to keep score.
