How to play Undercover

  1. Step 1

Check your word privately, then give one clue each.

Example: Your word is Coffee. Give “morning” as your clue without saying Coffee.

  2. Step 2

Discuss and vote for the outsider. A tie means another discussion.

Example: Alex says “teapot.” Discuss it, then each player votes for a suspect.

  3. Step 3

Find the Undercover before only two players remain.

Example: If Alex is Undercover, the group wins. If the outsider survives to the final two, the outsider wins.

Good to know

Can I say my secret word?

Keep the word hidden and describe it with a clue instead. Saying the word removes the uncertainty that makes the different-word player hard to find.

What happens if the vote is tied?

Discuss the clues again and vote again. In this version the outsider wins by surviving until only two players remain.

Bring your friends

Create a room with your name and share its invite link or code. Friends join from their own phones or laptops. If you are apart, use a separate voice or video call; Table Bandit does not provide voice chat. One shared laptop is another option when you can keep private cards and answers hidden from the right players.

You can open a room alone to prepare. Start when the group is ready; if someone joins later, the host can restart with everyone. Use the game’s normal turn controls to finish a match, or New round for a fresh start. Add score records a round winner when you want to keep score.
