How to play The Silent Line-Up

Step 1
Read the ordering challenge together. Put devices down and tap the timer when ready.
Example: Challenge: birthdays from January to December, ignoring birth year.
Step 2
Use gestures to arrange everyone in a line. No talking, writing or typing; agree which end comes first.
Example: Hold up fingers to show months and days; move into a line together.
Step 3
Tap Check the line when ready. Each person says their answer in order. Confirm success or try another challenge.
Example: Read birthdays aloud: January 4, March 12, September 8. Correct order: tap We did it.

Good to know

Can we play this on a remote call?

This version needs everyone in the same physical room so they can move into a line. Choose Charades or One-Word Story for a remote group instead.

Can we write down answers or type them?

No talking, writing or typing while arranging the line. Use gestures, agree which end comes first, then read everyone’s answers aloud when checking the order.

Bring your friends

Everyone needs to be in the same physical room. Open the challenge on a shared device or join the same browser room, agree which end of the line comes first, and clear enough space to move. Devices can go down while you arrange yourselves.

You can open a room alone to prepare. Start when the group is ready; if someone joins later, the host can restart with everyone. Use the game’s normal turn controls to finish a match, or New round for a fresh start. Add score records a round winner when you want to keep score.
