A good fit for: A group that wants to create something together without a winner.

How to play One-Word Story
Step 1
Read the opening scene. The named player adds one word aloud.
Example: The scene is a suspicious pizza. Alex says “Suddenly”.
Step 2
Tap Next player after each spoken word. Keep the story going without typing it.
Example: Sam adds “the”, then Jo adds “pizza”. Tap Next player after each word.
Step 3
Every full circle introduces a twist. Work it into the story; finish whenever you like.
Example: The twist says something floats. Continue “…floated above the table”.
Good to know
Can I add a whole sentence?
Use exactly one word on your turn. Listen to the previous words and pass to the next player without typing the story into the game.
When does the story end?
Finish whenever the group likes. Every full circle introduces a twist; work it into the same shared story before deciding on an ending.
Bring your friends
Create a room with your name and share its invite link or code. Friends join from their own phones or laptops. If you are apart, use a separate voice or video call; Table Bandit does not provide voice chat. One shared laptop is another option when you can keep private cards and answers hidden from the right players.
You can open a room alone to prepare. Start when the group is ready; if someone joins later, the host can restart with everyone. Use the game’s normal turn controls to finish a match, or New round for a fresh start. Add score records a round winner when you want to keep score.
