How to play Debate Club

  1. Step 1

Read the motion. The first speaker argues FOR it; tap the timer when ready.

Example: “Every office needs a slide.” Alex argues that it makes Mondays better.

  2. Step 2

Tap Next speaker. The second player gets thirty seconds to argue AGAINST the same motion.

Example: Sam argues against it: nobody would ever use the stairs again.

  3. Step 3

Everyone votes aloud for the most convincing argument. Add score is optional; New round rotates the opening speaker.

Example: The room votes for Sam’s argument; the host can give Sam one chalk mark.

Good to know

Do I choose which side to defend?

The first speaker argues for the motion and the second argues against it. Both speak about the same idea, even if they personally disagree with their assigned side.

Who decides the winner?

The room votes aloud for the most convincing argument. Optional scoring records the result; New round rotates the opening speaker.

Bring your friends

Create a room with your name and share its invite link or code. Friends join from their own phones or laptops. If you are apart, use a separate voice or video call; Table Bandit does not provide voice chat. One shared laptop is another option when you can keep private cards and answers hidden from the right players.

You can open a room alone to prepare. Start when the group is ready; if someone joins later, the host can restart with everyone. Use the game’s normal turn controls to finish a match, or New round for a fresh start. Add score records a round winner when you want to keep score.
