How to play Wavelength
Step 1
Only the clue giver checks the target. Give one clue aloud.
Example: The target is 80 on Cold → Hot. The clue giver says “a sauna.”
Step 2
The group debates and the host places the slider between the two extremes.
Example: Discuss how hot a sauna feels, then move the group slider to 75.
Step 3
Reveal the target. This house version scores 4 points within 5, 2 within 10, and 1 within 20.
Example: Reveal 80: a guess of 75 is within five, so the group scores four points.
Good to know
Can everyone see the target before guessing?
Only the clue giver sees it. They give a clue; the group discusses and places the slider before revealing the target.
How does scoring work in this house version?
A guess within five of the target earns four points, within ten earns two, and within twenty earns one. These are Table Bandit’s house scoring bands.
Bring your friends
Create a room with your name and share its invite link or code. Friends join from their own phones or laptops. If you are apart, use a separate voice or video call; Table Bandit does not provide voice chat. One shared laptop is another option when you can keep private cards and answers hidden from the right players.
You can open a room alone to prepare. Start when the group is ready; if someone joins later, the host can restart with everyone. Use the game’s normal turn controls to finish a match, or New round for a fresh start. Add score records a round winner when you want to keep score.
