Word games / TABLE BANDIT
Just One
Help one player guess a word using unique one-word clues.

A good fit for: A cooperative word game where unusual clues can be more useful than obvious ones.

How to play Just One
Step 1
Everyone except the guesser privately sees the word and submits one clue.
Example: The secret word is Volcano. One helper writes “lava,” another writes “eruption.”
Step 2
Matching clues cancel out. Review surviving clues aloud and disregard any other invalid clues.
Example: If two helpers wrote “lava,” both lava clues disappear. Eruption remains.
Step 3
The guesser gets one attempt. Play five rounds for a shared score.
Example: The guesser sees the remaining clues and makes one attempt: “Volcano.”
Good to know
What happens to matching clues?
Matching clues cancel out before the guesser sees them. If two people write “lava,” both copies disappear, so consider a different one-word hint.
Can the guesser keep trying?
The guesser gets one attempt using the surviving valid clues. Play five rounds for a shared score.
Bring your friends
Create a room with your name and share its invite link or code. Friends join from their own phones or laptops. If you are apart, use a separate voice or video call; Table Bandit does not provide voice chat. One shared laptop is another option when you can keep private cards and answers hidden from the right players.
You can open a room alone to prepare. Start when the group is ready; if someone joins later, the host can restart with everyone. Use the game’s normal turn controls to finish a match, or New round for a fresh start. Add score records a round winner when you want to keep score.
