How to play Don’t Say Yes or No
Step 1
The named player answers. Everyone else asks questions aloud; tap the timer to begin.
Example: Sam asks Alex “Do you like pizza?”
Step 2
Answer promptly without yes, no, yep, nope or nodding. Tap Another question if you need inspiration.
Example: Alex says “I love it.” If Alex says “Yep”, tap Slip.
Step 3
If the answerer slips or stalls for more than three seconds, tap Slip. Survive the minute to win the turn.
Example: Alex answers for the full minute without a forbidden response: the turn is won.
Good to know
Are “yep,” “nope” and nodding allowed?
No. Avoid yes, no, yep, nope and nodding. Answer with a full alternative such as “I love it” instead.
Can I stay silent to survive the minute?
No. Answer promptly; stalling for more than three seconds is a slip. The group asks questions aloud and can use the game for inspiration.
Bring your friends
Create a room with your name and share its invite link or code. Friends join from their own phones or laptops. If you are apart, use a separate voice or video call; Table Bandit does not provide voice chat. One shared laptop is another option when you can keep private cards and answers hidden from the right players.
You can open a room alone to prepare. Start when the group is ready; if someone joins later, the host can restart with everyone. Use the game’s normal turn controls to finish a match, or New round for a fresh start. Add score records a round winner when you want to keep score.
